Canadá venció este viernes en penaltis a Venezuela por 3-4 y avanzó a la semifinal de la Copa América en un partido que terminó 1-1 en el tiempo reglamentario en el estadio AT&T de Arlington.
Canadá se adelantó en el marcador en el minuto 13 del partido de cuartos de final de la Copa América con una anotación de Jacob Shaffelburg, tras una incursión letal por la banda derecha de su compañero Jonathan David.
Salomón Rondón, con un golazo, igualó para Venezuela a los 64 minutos y envió la definición a la semifinal a la tanda de los penaltis.
Canadá disputará la semifinal de la Copa América ante Argentina el próximo martes 9 de julio en el MetLife Stadium de New Jersey.
